After completing his medical education at Ege University Faculty of Medicine from 1993 through 1999, he completed his specialization training at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, Department of Ophthalmology between 2000-2004 and became an ophthalmologist. Between 2005-2018, he worked as an ophthalmologist in Levent and Etiler Branches of World Eye Hospital.
